Breakfast is the definite highlight of your stay and comprises of many delicious local goodies and produce. Guests may choose from any of the following:
- Full Breakfast of bacon, sausages, mushrooms, tomatoes and fried eggs all locally farmed and free range
- Organic Porridge
- Poached smoked haddock
- Craster kippers
In addition to any of the above options there is a never ending supply of freshly baked granary toast, homemade jams and preserves, freshly prepared fruit and organic home made natural yoghurt and freshly squeezed orange juice.
Fanny is more than happy to accommodate any special dietary needs or variations.
Fanny will be pleased to cater for the occasional dinner for guests, but there must be a minimum of four people and advanced notice. Two or three courses will be served from £18.00 for two courses. Guests are more than welcome to bring their own wine. A sample menu would be:
- Local crab and avocado salad
- Breast of duck with quince and red wine sauce, a selection of vegetables from the garden
- Brandy snap baskets filled with soft fruit and creamy vanilla ice cream
There is a good selection of local pubs and restaurants to choose from and Fanny and Vivian are more than happy to make prior reservations for you should you wish.
